Midland County Horseshoe Sees Increased Traffic

Venue popularity benefits residents, local economy

MIDLAND COUNTY, TEXAS – The Midland County Horseshoe continues to see increased traffic and growing community engagement, reinforcing its role as a key asset for both Midland County residents and the local economy.

Over the past year, the Horseshoe hosted more than 200 events, with a total of 475 event days, and welcomed more than 200,000 attendees, drawing visitors from across the world and supporting area hotels, restaurants, and small businesses. Multi-day events and partnerships with local organizations have contributed to higher occupancy rates and expanded economic impact throughout the county.

“The Horseshoe has become a destination that truly benefits our community,” said Horseshoe Director Steven Garcia.

“We’re seeing more events, more visitors, and strong satisfaction from both event organizers and attendees. That growth translates directly into economic activity for Midland County while also giving our citizens a place to gather and enjoy quality events.”

In addition to increased attendance, the facility has seen strong growth in public engagement and visibility, reflecting rising interest and participation from the community. Event organizers consistently rate their overall experience highly, citing facility quality, amenities, and customer service.

“The Midland County Horseshoe is a prime example of how strategic investments can pay dividends for our citizens,” said County Judge Terry Johnson. “It drives tourism, supports local businesses, and provides a versatile space that serves the entire community. This continued growth is good news for Midland County and its future.”

County officials say the Horseshoe will continue focusing on citizen-driven events, attracting new opportunities, and strengthening partnerships to ensure long-term benefits for residents and the local economy.
